From 19 January to 17 February 2025, we will be welcoming Daria Holovchanska to our artistic residency for her \"Little Zaches\" project.<\/p>\n
\"Little Zaches\" is a dystopian play based on the fairy tale of the same name by Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann. It will tell the story of a society on the brink of collapse, whose members believe lies and have lost their sense of values, while the 'Little Zaches' continue to direct them and lead them to the edge of the precipice. It will echo the events of the 21st century, contemporary Europe and in particular the situation in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Daria Holovchanska's artistic residency at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Massue will enable her to immerse herself in the company's aesthetic and dramaturgical universe, which tackles themes such as dystopia, alienation and dehumanisation, and to draw inspiration from the show \"Le Petit Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Bout du Monde - Opus III\", which will then be in production. She will also have access to the company's tools and advice for making puppets and sets, as well as developing the dramaturgy and scenography.<\/p>\n
