On 23 and 24 January 2025, the Théâtre de la Massue and Cie Deraïdenz are organising a workshop to learn and discover string puppetry techniques, from construction to manipulation.

This workshop will be led by Baptiste Zsilina, co-director of Cie Deraïdenz, and Ézéquiel Garcia-Romeu, artistic director of Théâtre de la Massue. It is aimed at adults.

Course outline :

• Thursday morning, 23 January: discovery of building materials (wood, cardboard, paper).
• Thursday afternoon, 23 January: joint techniques and first fabrications.
• Friday morning, 24 January: making the controls and threading the hooks.
• Friday afternoon, 24 January: experiments and tests.
